Every morning while making coffee, I had to pinch myself to make sure I wasn't dreaming. Could a place like this truly exist in today's world? With mountains, horses, sunsets, birds singing in the breeze, and the scent of the bush, our peaceful moments between hiking, swimming, and horseback riding became the highlights of our trip.Marion and family have been custodians of this magical place since 1900, and they take excellent care of it. Travelers like us are fortunate to spend time in their paradise. Marion was an attentive host, always eager to help. This location is ideal for artists, writers, and anyone who appreciates nature, history, and peace. It’s a wonderful retreat for families looking to escape the drama of the modern world.Posted onVerified Beautiful stay surrounded by horses, kangaroos and the mountains. Very clean, cozy cabin. We enjoyed playing board games around the fireplace, petting the friendly horses, and sitting on the porch enjoying the view. Marion was super helpful, friendly and responsive. The cabin was beautifully cosy and had everything we needed - the fire was easy to light and kept us warm and relaxed in the evenings, and the kitchen was really well equipped for cooking. The location was absolutely stunning, surrounded by nature with gorgeous scenery all around. We loved going for walks at dusk and spotting kangaroos, horses, and so many different birds. It was the perfect accommodation to really experience the Blue Mountains. It was so secluded and the views were breathtaking, particularly at sunset. We have 3 young children and they thoroughly enjoyed where we stayed! They loved roasting marshmallows by the fire and patting the horses as their riders/owners trotted past our property gate.Especially loved the thoughtful breakfast basket.
